Job summary

SECU is seeking a Member Services Officer to maintain accounts, open accounts, and assist members with consumer lending within assigned limits. The role requires completion of the Consumer Lending Program (CLP) and strong product knowledge to educate members on SECU services.

The position involves processing transactions, cash handling, wires, and safe deposit access, with expectations to support community events and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include high school diploma or GED; preferred bachelor’s degree or CCUE certification.
• Must have good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform account maintenance and open all account types for new members.
• Assist members in consumer lending and approve loans within assigned limits.
• Process transactions, wires, and other branch operations; balance drawers as needed.
