Job summary

Texas Dow Employees Credit Union in Houston seeks a proactive Member Service Associate to cultivate lifelong relationships with members through in-person, phone, and digital channels. You will open and maintain deposits, process loans and new accounts, and advise on digital solutions to meet financial goals.

Using a consultative approach, you will cross-sell checking, savings, cards, loans, and more while delivering world-class REAL Service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience is required.
• 3+ years of experience in Member Service, banking, new accounts and lending is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document numbers accurately.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in using banking systems and loan processing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Opens and maintains deposit accounts including savings, checking, certificates, and specialty accounts.
• Completes loan and new account applications, loan interviewing and funding.
• Provides coaching and guidance on complex issues to team members.
• Cross-sells platform products and refers to insurance, investments and mortgage.
• Troubleshoots member inquiries and ensures timely, friendly service.
• Educates members on banking technology and digital solutions.
