Job summary

Texas Dow Employees Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative to build and maintain relationships with a book of business through proactive outreach and consultative solutions. You will handle complex new accounts, loans, and modifications, while educating members on digital banking solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in member services or banking, a high school diploma, and the ability to meet sales goals through cross-selling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience is required.
• 3 or more years of experience in Member Service, banking, new accounts and lending is required.

Responsibilities

• Opens and maintains deposit accounts including savings, checking, certificates, and specialty accounts.
• Completes loan and new account applications, loan interviewing and funding. Builds consumer loan packages with attention to detail.
• Provides coaching and guidance on complex issues to team members.
• Achieves personal sales goals by cross-selling platform products such as checking and savings, credit cards, loans, CDs Money Markets and making partner referrals to insurance, investments and mortgage.
• Problem Resolution: Owns Member issues through resolution and escalates feedback as needed.
• Educates members on emerging and existing credit union technology and digital solutions.
• Achieve required levels of outbound phone calls as proactive outreach using member prospect lead lists.
• Actively participates in community development activities.
• Completes all mandatory compliance testing on time.
