Job summary

Cumulus Media is seeking an Account Executive to manage relationships with local and regional businesses, grow revenue, and deliver marketing solutions across broadcast, digital, and events. The role emphasizes understanding client needs, building a sales pipeline, and closing deals to meet and exceed targets.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with opportunities for professional growth and commissions. Travel and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Years of sales experience required; background in broadcast, media or digital advertising sales highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or related field preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license required; regular travel to meet clients/prospects and attend events.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
• Present multi-platform marketing solutions (broadcast, digital, events) to drive revenue.
• Negotiate and close sales to grow revenue and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Develop knowledge of Cumulus assets to offer comprehensive marketing solutions.
• Manage time to optimize revenue opportunities and fulfill sales agreements.
• Prospect and maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects through networking, cold calling, canvassing, and referrals.
• Prepare orders and resolve billing issues, submit regular sales reports and forecasts.
