Job summary

Cumulus Media is seeking an Account Executive to manage relationships with dozens of local and regional businesses, protect and grow the revenue base, and deliver marketing solutions across broadcast, digital and event platforms.

You will identify new opportunities, negotiate deals, and collaborate with clients to reach their business goals. Travel is required to meet with clients and attend events; a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of sales experience required; background in broadcast, media or digital advertising preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license required; driving is essential for meeting clients and attending events.
• Passion for developing new business relationships in outside sales; ability to present opportunities and post-sale successes to clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and identify client needs by understanding goals, objectives and market trends to create customized marketing solutions.
• Deliver marketing solutions via multi-platform sales presentations covering broadcast, digital, and event tactics to drive results.
• Negotiate and close deals to grow revenue and build long-term client relationships.
• Represent the full suite of products and services including station digital assets, internet marketing, social media, streaming and events.
