Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead a team responsible for the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.

You will design solutions for challenging problems and manage projects within the Reliability Maintenance & Engineering group. You will train technicians, oversee vendors, and ensure safe operation of MHE and facility systems, with emphasis on relay logic, sensors, and motor starters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 4+ years of electrical and electronic principles experience.
• 4+ years of troubleshooting MHE and related systems.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to move up to 49 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead service technicians in installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Design solutions for difficult problems and manage projects within Maintenance & Engineering.
• Train and mentor service technicians and contract technicians.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
• Create and close out work orders with labor hours, maintenance data, and parts used.
