Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, and to support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for complex problems and managing projects.

The role requires 4+ years in maintenance of MHE and electrical/electronic systems, reading blueprints, supervising technicians, and ensuring safety standards, with shifts up to 12 hours and lifting up to 49 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 4+ years of preventive and predictive maintenance on MHE.
• 4+ years of repairing MHE or automated conveyors.
• 4+ years reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
• 4+ years electrical/electronic principles experience.
• 4+ years of safety standards experience.
• 4+ years of troubleshooting MHE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee material handling equipment (MHE) and facility equipment including Fire Life Safety systems.
• Lead a team of service technicians and coordinate vendors for repairs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and actuators.
• Create and close work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Develop job plans for emergency repairs of critical assets.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, and climb ladders safely.
