Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead a team of service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions, manage projects, and mentor both internal and contract technicians.

You will install and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and various control components while ensuring safety standards and efficient maintenance of MHE assets.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 4+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
• 4+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment experience.
• 4+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics experience.
• 4+ years of electrical and electronic principles experience.
• 4+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience.
• 4+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead service technicians in installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Support Operations Maintenance by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects.
• Train and mentor service technicians and contract technicians.
• Oversee vendors for planned and emergency repairs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors and actuators.
