Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design practical solutions and manage projects to keep critical assets running.

You will train and mentor technicians, oversee vendors, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, sensors, and related control components. The role requires physical diligence and ability to lift up to 49 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or related mechanical/controls equipment experience.
• 4+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 4+ years of electrical and electronic principles experience.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of service technicians in installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Design solutions for difficult problems and manage projects for maintenance programs.
• Train and mentor service technicians and contract technicians.
• Create and close out work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
