Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service teams in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions, manage projects, and mentor technicians.

The role requires extensive experience with MHE, reading blueprints, electrical principles, and safety standards, plus the ability to train others and oversee contractors. This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or related mechanical/controls equipment experience.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 4+ years electrical and electronic principles experience.
• 4+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 4+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of service technicians and develop training plans, plus oversee vendors for repairs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors and actuators.
• Create and close out work orders with data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Maintain material handling equipment and facility systems such as FLS.
• Mentor technicians and contract technicians.
