Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions, mentor technicians, and manage projects within the Operations Maintenance team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 4+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 4+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 4+ years electrical and electronic principles.
• 4+ years of safety standards experience.
• 4+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee material handling equipment (MHE) and facility equipment, including Fire Life Safety systems.
• Lead a team of service technicians and develop training plans; oversee vendors for repairs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
• Create and close out work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used; develop emergency repair plans.
• Move up to 49 lbs; stand/walk up to 12-hour shifts; climb ladders; bend, lift, reach as required.
