Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions for complex problems, manage projects, and mentor other technicians.

You will oversee MHE and facility equipment, develop training plans, and supervise vendors for repairs. Applicants should have 4+ years in maintenance, blueprints reading, and safety standards, with PLC/robotics exposure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
• 4+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment experience.
• 4+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee material handling equipment (MHE) and facility equipment, including Fire Life Safety systems.
• Lead a team of service technicians and oversee vendors for planned and emergency repairs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and actuators.
• Create and close out work orders with data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used; develop job plans for emergencies.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand for shifts up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and perform bending and lifting as required.
