Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions for complex problems, mentor technicians, and manage projects within the Operations Maintenance team.

The role requires hands-on maintenance expertise with MHE, robotics components, PLCs, and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of preventive and predictive maintenance on material handling equipment (MHE)
• 4+ years repairing MHE, automated conveyors, or related mechanical/controls equipment
• 4+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics
• 4+ years electrical and electronic principles experience
• 4+ years of safety standards experience
• Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee MHE and facility equipment incl. Fire Life Safety systems
• Lead a team of service technicians; develop training plans; oversee vendors for repairs
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors
• Create and close work orders with labor hours, maintenance data, and parts used; develop emergency repair plans
• Move up to 49 lbs; stand for up to 12 hours; climb ladders; perform bending and reaching as needed
