Job summary

Amazon in Aurora, CO seeks a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions, manage projects, and mentor staff while supporting maintenance operations.

The role requires extensive experience with MHE, PLCs, robotics controls, and electrical schematics, with a focus on safety and efficiency. On-site work and shift flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 4+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyors.
• 4+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 4+ years of electrical and electronic principles.
• 4+ years of safety standards experience.
• 4+ years of troubleshooting MHE equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of service technicians and develop training plans.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, sensors, motor starters.
• Create and close out work orders with labor hours, parts, and maintenance data.
• Oversee vendors for planned and emergency repairs.
• Manage safe movement of up to 49lbs and perform frequent physical tasks
