Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in West Chester, OH to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions, manage projects, and mentor contract technicians while ensuring safety and reliability of MHE.

You should have 4+ years in predictive/preventative maintenance, MHE repair, reading blueprints/electrical schematics, and a strong safety record.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 4+ years repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 4+ years electrical/electronic principles experience.
• 4+ years demonstrating safety standards experience.
• 4+ years troubleshooting MHE and related controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee MHE and facility equipment, including Fire Life Safety systems.
• Lead a team of service technicians; develop training plans; oversee vendors for repairs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors and actuators.
• Create and close out work orders with labor hours, maintenance data, and parts; develop emergency repair plans.
• Move up to 49 lbs; stand/walk up to 12 hours; climb ladders; perform bending and reaching; shift assignments may vary.
