Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions, manage projects, and mentor technicians.

You will oversee MHE maintenance, train staff, and coordinate with contract technicians, while ensuring safety and efficiency in fast-paced operations in Pflugerville, TX.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma required.
• 4+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or related mechanical/controls equipment experience.
• 4+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 4+ years of electrical and electronic principles experience.
• 4+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.
• 4+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee MHE and facility equipment, such as FLS systems.
• Lead a team of service technicians and develop training plans; supervise vendors.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors.
• Create and close out work orders with data on labor, equipment, and parts; develop emergency repair plans.
• Move up to 49lbs; stand/walk up to 12 hours; climb ladders; perform bending, lifting, and reaching.
