Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service teams, install and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and design project solutions. You will mentor technicians, develop training plans, and oversee vendor repairs to ensure reliability of MHE and facility systems.

Responsibilities include creating work plans, documenting labor and parts, and performing maintenance tasks while meeting safety standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance on MHE.
• 4+ years of repairing material handling equipment or related mechanical/controls systems.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 4+ years electrical and electronic principles, and safety standards experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead service technicians in installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Design solutions for difficult problems and manage projects within Operations Maintenance.
• Train and mentor service technicians and contracted technicians.
• Create and close out work orders with data on labor, equipment, and parts.
