Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Los Angeles to lead a team of service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.

The role supports the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for complex problems, managing projects, and mentoring technicians. Extensive maintenance of MHE, PLCs, and robotics is required. The position involves physical tasks and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or related mechanical/controls equipment.
• 4+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 4+ years of electrical/electronic principles experience.
• 4+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 4+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee material handling equipment (MHE) and facility equipment including Fire Life Safety systems.
• Lead a team of service technicians and develop training plans; oversee vendors for repairs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and actuators.
