Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions for tough problems under the Operations Maintenance team and mentor staff across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of maintenance and repair of MHE and conveyors.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 4+ years of electrical and electronic principles.
• 4+ years of demonstrating safety standards.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee material handling equipment (MHE) and facility equipment, including Fire Life Safety systems.
• Lead a team of service technicians and develop training plans; oversee vendors for repairs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and related devices.
• Create and close work orders with data on labor, equipment maintenance and parts used; develop repair plans for critical assets.
• Move up to 49 lbs; stand for shifts up to 12 hours; climb ladders; perform bending, lifting and reaching as needed.
