Job summary

Aecon Concessions is seeking a Senior Mechanical Pipe Stress Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will perform detailed and complex pipe stress analysis, ensuring compliance with the ASME Section III Code while preparing essential engineering documents.

The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, along with at least 10 years of experience in relevant engineering practices. You will be part of critical projects that serve the nuclear and conventional generation industry.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in pipe stress analysis and pipe support design.
  • Experience working with Duke Energy (Nuclear) is a plus.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license in the US preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex pipe stress analysis and calculations for various piping systems.
  • Prepare engineering drawings and develop design specifications.
  • Support construction and startup activities as required.
