Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pipe Stress Engineer to prepare documentation for pipe stress analyses and support design for nuclear and non-nuclear piping systems.

The role involves collaboration across disciplines to deliver safe, compliant designs and may involve leadership responsibilities in project execution. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering, 15+ years of piping experience, and a PE license.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • A PE license is required.
  • 15+ years of experience in designing mechanical piping systems and pipe stress analysis.
  • Experience with ASME Section III Class 1 Fatigue design.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare complete documentation of pipe stress analysis and support design for process and utility piping in nuclear and non-nuclear projects.
  • Perform static and dynamic piping flexibility analyses for critical systems.
  • Analyze sustained, thermal, seismic, wind, and other operating cases.
  • Identify pipe supports and locations on isometrics; coordinate with Civil/Structural groups.
  • Prepare high-quality engineering documents per codes, standards, and client/regulatory requirements.
  • Provide peer reviews and cross-functional collaboration to ensure design quality and compliance.
  • Lead initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and support procurement and project management.
