Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer for nuclear-related piping analysis and design support.

The role involves preparing detailed pipe stress analyses, supporting documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards across multiple office locations in the U.S. The ideal candidate holds a PE license, has 15+ years of piping design experience, and is proficient with multiple piping stress software packages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in design of mechanical piping systems and pipe stress analysis.
  • Significant ASME Section III Class 1 Fatigue design experience.
  • Experience with a combination of pipe stress analysis software (listed).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite; strong writing and communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain unescorted access to a US Nuclear facility and travel for outages.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare complete documentation of pipe stress analysis and support design for process and utility piping.
  • Perform static and dynamic piping flexibility analyses for critical systems.
  • Coordinate with Civil/Structural group on supports and loads.
  • Prepare engineering documents per industry codes and client requirements.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and review documents for QA.
