Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer for its Nuclear Services Group. You will perform pipe stress analyses and prepare documentation for nuclear and non-nuclear projects, ensuring compliance with ASME III and related standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 15 years of design experience in mechanical piping systems and pipe stress analysis.
  • Significant ASME Section III Class 1 Fatigue design experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Ability to obtain unescorted access to a US Nuclear facility.
  • Willing and able to travel to nuclear plant outages.
  • Experience with Piping Vibration Evaluation/Analysis.
  • Experience with piping layout, isometrics, P&IDs, and master diagrams.
  • Experience with bid evaluations, proposals, budgets, schedules.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pipe stress analyses and pipe support design for process and utility piping in nuclear and non-nuclear projects.
  • Prepare complete engineering documentation and analyses per industry codes and client requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of codes, standards, safety culture, and design techniques in nuclear.
  • Provide peer reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality designs.
  • Engage with clients to define scope, review results, and discuss technical risks.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to engineers; support project management and budget adherence.
