Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer to join the Nuclear Services Group. You will perform pipe stress analyses and develop documentation for nuclear and process piping systems across multiple U.S. locations.

Work includes leading QA reviews, coordinating with civil/structural teams, and mentoring junior engineers. The role may involve travel and occasional remote work, with a PE license required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the design of mechanical piping systems, and pipe stress analysis.
  • Experience with ASME Section III design and fatigue, including NB, NC/ND, NF; regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pipe stress analysis and support design for process and utility piping in nuclear and non-nuclear projects.
  • Prepare high-quality engineering documents per codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry codes, standards, safety culture, and design techniques for nuclear services.
  • Provide peer and technical reviews of engineering designs and documentation.
  • Lead initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Support procurement, subcontract activities, and project management with Lean/D cost principles.
