WSP Global Inc. seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Boise, Idaho, Madison, Wisconsin, Austin, Texas, Houston, Texas or Overland Park, Kansas locations.

Open to remote for the right candidate. The Facilities Division specializes in Food & Beverage, Federal, and Industrial facility design, delivering high-performing projects through responsible design and integration of new buildings, remodels, and studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing and utility piping design; independent judgement.
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• Knowledge of mechanical systems incl. hydronic, steam, gas, refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from sites, surveys, drawings, and reports.
• Apply high-level mechanical engineering techniques for complex design, procurement, and construction.
• Develop construction plans, specs, and cost estimates; coordinate with owners and clients.
• Lead mechanical design and construction projects from inception to completion, including rehab and new builds.
• Mentor staff and stay current with latest mechanical engineering practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on federal, state, and local projects.
