Zusammenfassung

RTX is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer onsite at our Tucson, AZ campus. The role requires design, development and production experience with mechanical hardware and system integration, plus ability to lead teams and manage design releases. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and support full lifecycle from proposal through testing and production, within a mission-focused environment.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years experience.
• Experience creating, reviewing and interpreting technical documentation for hardware or tooling.
• Experience in mechanical design, development, manufacturing or tooling processes.
• Experience in engineering drawings using a 3D CAD tool.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Aufgaben

• Lead mechanical design activities across the product lifecycle from proposal to testing.
• Perform mechanical design analyses to ensure form, fit, and function.
• Lead small teams and mentor engineers in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide support for product assembly and integration at domestic and international locations.
• Participate in design reviews and trade studies to inform decisions.
