Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years.
• Experience creating, reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience in mechanical design, development, manufacturing or tooling.
• Experience with 3D CAD drawings and engineering documentation.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative technical solutions across lifecycle, including design and testing of missiles and launchers.
• Perform mechanical design analyses to ensure form, fit, and function as intended.
• Lead small teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Support product assembly and integration at domestic and international locations.
• Lead a mechanical engineering team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges.
• Independently manage tasks to meet schedule, budget, and technical goals.
• Participate in design reviews and trade studies.
• Mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
