Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with Federal project experience to lead building mechanical design for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems. You will apply engineering principles, mentor staff, and guide projects from planning through execution using Revit and digital design tools.

You will play a key role in client engagement, quality control, and collaboration across Stantec's Federal Buildings practice, supporting California and US West initiatives while aligning with project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Professional Engineer licensed is preferred or currently working toward licensure.
• PM certification, LEED AP credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Develop mechanical design deliverables including HVAC and plumbing.
• Engage with clients to ensure design solutions meet objectives and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, other engineers, and vendors to deliver projects.
