Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with Federal project experience in Los Angeles, CA. You will lead HVAC, plumbing, and piping design, mentor staff, and support business development while leveraging Revit and other design tools to deliver high‑quality solutions.

You will collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers across the Federal Buildings practice, ensuring design alignment with budgets, schedules, and client expectations in a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading complex projects.
• Cal/US building codes, IMC/IPC/NFPA/IBC/ASHRAE knowledge; LEED/green building experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of HVAC, plumbing, and controls.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support business development and client relationship growth.
