Job summary

Stantec is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with Federal project experience to apply building mechanical engineering principles, client service, and project management to deliver projects that meet requirements and exceed expectations.

This role provides leadership in planning, design, and delivery of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems, leveraging Revit and other digital design tools to support execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; Professional Engineer preferred.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, and controls design and coordination.
• Prepare detailed design documents, specifications and reports.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to align project objectives.
