Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Associate, Senior Mechanical Engineer – Federal to lead HVAC, plumbing, and piping design for federal projects. You will mentor teams, drive project delivery from planning through construction, and ensure compliance with codes while leveraging Revit MEP and other BIM tools.

Based in California, you will develop client relationships, support business development, and guide multidisciplinary teams across the US West and California regions.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering degree required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in mechanical HVAC design for buildings.
• Experience with federal/government projects and BIM with Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of federal projects from planning through construction.
• Define scope, goals, and staffing with clients and teams.
• Mentor engineers and staff across disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and quality requirements.
