Job summary

VIP, Inc. seeks a Master Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles, ensuring quality service first time. You will follow VIP processes, perform comprehensive ASE-focused tasks, and uphold safety standards while delivering a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities include accurate work orders, MPI completion, and teamwork with service staff. The role requires mastering all eight A-series ASE certifications and ongoing training to educate customers about their vehicle’s condition.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journal and procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Explain vehicle information to customers and respond to questions from coworkers.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
• Interpret, understand, and apply instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to perform the automotive services listed above.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workplace safety as Priority #1; follow safety policies and training.
• Provide diagnosis, repair, and maintenance for systems covered by ASE A1–A8.
• Initiate a valid Service Work Order before service and display with vehicle.
• Complete MPI and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement Process.
• Obtain needed parts from Desk Team and return unused parts after service.
• Maintain productivity targets and safe operation of shop equipment.
