Job summary

VIP, Inc. seeks a Master Technician to deliver high-quality automotive diagnostics and repair, reading and following VIP safety and process standards.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journal and procedures, or governmental regulations
• Effectively explain vehicle information to customers, present and respond to questions from coworkers
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems
• Interpret, understand, and apply instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to successfully perform required types of automotive services listed above

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1 and report unsafe conditions
• Provide automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance services across ASE A1–A8 areas
• Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated and displayed with the vehicle
• Ensure an MPI is completed prior to initiating service and support the 5-for-5 process
• Obtain needed parts only from the Desk Team and return unused parts after service
• Maintain a minimum 16-week productivity target as outlined
• Follow VIP quality service policies and complete required training
• Perform shop and safety/housekeeping responsibilities and compliance tasks
