Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Master Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on automotive systems at our on-site Lawrence, MA location. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to VIP processes, and delivering quality service to customers.

Responsibilities include following work orders, completing MPI, and maintaining shop organization while pursuing ASE and state certifications as part of ongoing training. This is a non-exempt, hourly position with standard 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State Inspection License and ASE certifications are valued.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems.
• Perform safe maintenance and services per VIP processes.
• Follow service work orders and MPI processes.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the shop.
