Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Master Technician to perform diagnostic and repair tasks across automotive systems, ensuring quality work on first attempt. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer service in a non-exempt hourly framework.

The technician will follow VIP processes, complete required LMS training, and maintain ASE certifications while complying with all regulations and shop policies.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals and procedures.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
• Maintain ASE and vehicle inspection credentials as required by the role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1 and follow all safety policies.
• Provide diagnosis, repair, and maintenance for automotive systems per ASE A1–A8.
• Initiate and display Service Work Order and MPI before service.
• Complete and return service paperwork and manage parts flow with Desk Team.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow VIP quality standards.
