Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Master Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems, ensuring first-time quality and safety. The tech will perform vehicle inspections, part replacements, and participate in VIP processes and safety programs to deliver a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining Service Work Orders, completing MPI, and collaborating with the desk team to source parts, while meeting productivity targets and adhering to company policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals, or regulations.
• Explain vehicle information clearly to customers and coworkers.
• Diagnose and recommend automotive service solutions.
• Follow written or verbal instructions and schedules.
• Perform the automotive services listed in duties with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize workplace safety and follow safety training policies.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive systems per ASE areas.
• Initiate and display Service Work Order during service.
• Complete MPI and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement Process.
• Handle parts via desk team and return unused parts after service.
• Return cores, batteries, and used tires to designated areas.
• Maintain productivity targets for the shop (Master Technician level).
• Follow VIP quality standards and complete required training.
• Attend meetings and complete LMS and safety courses.
• Support in maintaining clean, safe, and organized work area.
