Job summary

VIP, Inc. seeks a Master Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles, ensuring quality work the first time.

You will follow safety protocols, manage service orders, and engage customers through VIP’s 5-for-5 process while maintaining a clean, compliant shop environment. Responsibilities include completing required certifications (ASE G1/A4/A5), performing maintenance and inspections, and collaborating with the Service Manager to uphold VIP standards.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence.
• Equipment Safety Certification
• ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
• ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
• ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
• State Inspection License

Responsibilities

• Maintain workplace safety as Priority #1 and report unsafe conditions.
• Provide diagnostics, repair, and maintenance for automotive systems.
• Initiate Service Work Orders and display them with vehicles.
• Complete MPIs and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
• Return unused parts to Desk Team after service.
• Follow VIP quality standards and safety policies.
• Attend trainings, LMS modules, and certifications as required.
• Road test vehicles after service to confirm safe operation.
• Keep work area clean and organized; dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain Corporates’ policies and participate in team meetings.
