Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Mask Design Engineer to contribute to package layouts and interposers. You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver optimized layouts under tight schedules, leveraging Cadence Virtuoso and advanced verification tools.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of proven experience in mask and layout design.
• Deep understanding of layout concepts in submicron CMOS technologies.
• Proficiency with Cadence layout tools, especially Virtuoso.
• Experience with DRC/LVS flows and deck customization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross functionally with PTL and I/O signal integrity/tech engineers to deliver packages on tight schedules.
• Perform physical layout for silicon interposer using Cadence tools.
• Conduct design feasibility studies to evaluate size, cost, and system performance.
• Study layout floorplans and perform custom layout and verification against design rules and netlists.
• Propose layout design trade-offs to the PTL for resolution and implementation.
