Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Mask Design Engineer to collaborate with the package technical lead and design teams on detailed silicon interposer layouts using Cadence tools. You will also help plan schedules, resolve cost, manufacturing, and electrical design issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years experience in mask and layout design.
• Deep understanding of submicron CMOS layout concepts.
• Cadence Virtuoso layout tools expert.
• Knowledge of Calibre/ICV/Thunder for verification.
• Proficient in Perl, Python and Skill scripting.
• Knowledge of DRC/LVS flows and deck customization.
• APD package layout tool knowledge a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PTL and engineers to design interposer layouts.
• Perform physical layout for silicon interposer using Cadence tools.
• Conduct design feasibility studies for size, cost and performance.
• Review layout floorplans and perform custom layout vs. design rules and nets.
• Propose layout trade-offs to the PTL for resolution and implementation.
