Job summary

IKM Architecture, with offices in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Columbus, seeks a Senior Marketing Coordinator to lead proposals, develop content, and support business development. The role collaborates with firm leadership and technical teams to strengthen processes that support growth.

The Senior Marketing Coordinator will draft and edit narratives, manage interviews, coordinate firm-wide marketing efforts, and provide guidance to junior staff while ensuring brand consistency across materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of marketing, proposal, or business development experience in architecture/engineering/professional services.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear, client-focused messaging.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with schedules and deadlines.
• Experience coordinating complex RFQ/RFP responses and managing multiple deadlines.
• Experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint or similar CRM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFQ/RFP responses from kickoff through submission.
• Develop tailored proposal content that communicates qualifications and value.
• Draft, edit, and refine proposal narratives, cover letters, and resumes.
• Coordinate interview presentations and practice sessions.
• Coordinate firmwide marketing initiatives and communications materials.
• Research clients, markets, competitors, and industry trends.
• Maintain information in Deltek and other marketing systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve marketing workflows and tools.
