Job summary

IKM Architecture, a full-service architecture, planning, and interior design firm with offices in Pittsburgh, is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Coordinator. The role supports marketing, communications, and business development efforts, managing proposals, materials, and campaigns while collaborating with firm leadership and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of marketing, proposal, or business development experience, preferably within architecture/engineering/construction or professional services.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating complex RFQ/RFP responses and managing multiple deadlines.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear, client-focused messaging.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, including scheduling and coordinating contributors.
• Ability to work with firm leadership, technical professionals, consultants, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFQ/RFP responses from kickoff through submission.
• Develop tailored proposal content with win themes in collaboration with leadership and project teams.
• Draft, edit, and refine proposal narratives, cover letters, and resumes.
• Coordinate interview presentations and supporting materials; assist with messaging and preparation.
• Coordinate and execute firmwide marketing initiatives, including awards submissions and collateral.
• Research clients, markets, competitors, projects, and industry trends to support strategy.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and marketing assets in Deltek and other systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve marketing workflows, templates, and tools.
• Perform quality-control reviews to ensure branding and messaging alignment.
• Collaborate with principals, project managers, and external partners to keep initiatives moving.
