Eaton is hiring a Manager, Supplier Development Engineering – EMS & Electronics. The role leads a team driving supplier capability, capacity, and readiness to support current and future business needs in a hybrid in‑office/remote setting across locations in the United States.

You will partner with Supplier Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering and Operations to ensure suppliers meet quality, delivery, cost and growth objectives, while advancing manufacturing excellence and new product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality or related field.
• Minimum of eight (8) years experience in Supplier Development, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years leadership experience managing technical teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the supplier development strategy for assigned regions, commodities, or business segments.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supplier Development Engineers.
• Provide oversight of supplier capability, manufacturing, operational, and capacity risk assessments.
• Drive supplier manufacturing excellence initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and CP tools.
• Lead assessment and management of supplier production capacity and readiness.
• Ensure suppliers support new product introductions, installations, and transitions.
• Establish processes for supplier capability assessments, audits, and readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align priorities with business objectives.
• Establish KPIs and governance for supplier development activities.
