Job summary

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is seeking a Manager, Supplier Development Engineering - EMS & Electronics. Hybrid remote/in-office role located at Peachtree City, GA, with relocation benefits within the United States and travel up to 50%.

The role leads supplier development strategy, oversees a team of engineers, and drives risk assessments, Lean/Six Sigma improvements, and readiness for launches across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years in Supplier Development, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 3+ years leadership experience managing technical teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this role (CPT/OPT/STEM OPT/H-1B, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the supplier development strategy for assigned regions, commodities, or business segments.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supplier Development Engineers.
• Provide oversight of supplier capability, manufacturing, operational, and capacity risk assessments.
• Drive lean, Six Sigma, and process capability improvements in supplier operations.
• Lead assessment of supplier production capacity and readiness for forecasted demand.
• Ensure suppliers are prepared for new product introductions and launches.
• Establish supplier capability assessment processes across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier readiness throughout development and launch processes.
