Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality or related technical discipline.
• Eight (8) years of experience in Supplier Development, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• Three (3) years of leadership experience managing technical teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute the supplier development strategy for assigned regions, commodities, or business segments.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supplier Development Engineers with performance expectations and development plans.
• Provide oversight of supplier capability, manufacturing, and capacity risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Drive supplier manufacturing excellence using Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement.
• Lead assessment and management of supplier production capacity and readiness to support demand and growth.
• Ensure suppliers are prepared for new product introductions, launches, and transfers.
• Establish governance for supplier capability assessments, audits, and readiness planning across the organization.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Supplier Quality, and Engineering to ensure supplier readiness during product development and launches.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for supplier development activities and cross-functional alignment.
• Promote standardization and best practices across global supplier development activities.
