Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Manager of Solutions Engineering for Enterprise, overseeing a remote West Coast team and driving regional growth. You will recruit, coach, and mentor presales engineers, partner with Sales and Marketing, and influence product strategy while ensuring customer success through professional services and support.

This role reports to regional leadership and owns quarterly plans and pipeline.

Qualifications

• Located on the West Coast.
• 5+ years in the high tech industry with roles such as Developer, Sales Engineer/Architect, Manager, etc.
• Direct experience mentoring, developing people and managing performance over time.
• Experience in Open Source selling or Cloud-first/Product led sales go to market motion is a big plus.
• Direct experience implementing and/or executing a formal sales methodology, Command of the Message, qualification frameworks like MEDDPICC.
• Direct experience selling monitoring/data/visualization products.
• Proven ability to own a book of business and to exceed quarterly targets.
• Proven ability to work with sales leader counterparts.

Responsibilities

• Attract, recruit, ramp, and mentor a team of Presales SEs from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Lead from the front with an executive sponsorship of key accounts in the region.
• Direct the bulk of day-to-day work based on guidance from leadership, owning regional planning and outcomes.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Community teams to drive awareness and adoption of Grafana products.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to influence the roadmap based on customer feedback.
• Own quarterly cadence of the team and help build pipeline for new logo targets.
