Job summary

Grafana Labs seeks a Manager of Solutions Engineering for Enterprise to lead a high-performing presales team and drive regional GTM initiatives on the West Coast. You will mentor, recruit, and partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product to ensure successful adoption of Grafana OSS and cloud offerings.

You will own the regional strategy, coach from the front, sponsor key accounts, and shape the roadmap with customer feedback while hitting quarterly targets and contributing to global growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in high-tech roles including developer, sales engineer/architect, or manager.
• Experience mentoring and evaluating performance over time.
• Open Source selling or Cloud-first GTM is a plus.
• Experience with formal sales methodologies like MEDDPICC.
• Experience selling monitoring/data/visualization products.
• DevOps exposure (IaC, CI/CD, GitHub Actions) is a plus.
• Proven ability to own a book of business and exceed quarterly targets.
• Proven ability to collaborate with sales leadership.

Responsibilities

• Attract, recruit, ramp, and mentor a team of Presales SEs from diverse backgrounds.
• Lead from the front with a coaching mindset and balance field duties with team needs.
• Executive sponsorship of key regional accounts to win and grow business.
• Plan, execute, and own regional outcomes in alignment with leadership.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product to drive awareness and adoption of Grafana OSS and cloud offerings.
• Understand customers' adoption strategies and develop enablement programs.
• Ensure customer requirements are met through Product Management and Engineering partnerships.
• Manage quarterly cadence and build pipelines for new logos.
• Own the PG plan in collaboration with sales to drive revenue growth.
