Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead a team of Salesforce and software engineers in building scalable cloud-native solutions for Brand, Marketing, Partnerships, CC-Sales, and Outreach Programs.

You will shape technical strategy, own Salesforce core architecture, and partner with Product, Security, Marketing, and Operations to deliver high-impact systems while ensuring security and compliance across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years managing or developing software teams in Agile, cloud-first environments.
• Deep technical knowledge of Salesforce including Apex, LWCs, Flow Orchestration, Sales/Service/Marketing Cloud.
• Background in full-stack or backend development (Java/Node.js/Python) and APIs.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external apps using middleware (MuleSoft/Workato) or cloud-native services.
• Direct experience delivering tech solutions for high-volume Contact Center/Telesales, Marketing automation, or Partner/Outreach.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision, execution, and delivery across Brand, Marketing, Partnerships, CC-Sales, and Outreach Programs.
• Oversee Salesforce architecture, customization, and scalability across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Lead development of modern solutions beyond CRM, including microservices, event-driven middleware, REST/GraphQL APIs, and data pipelines.
• Architect high-volume CC-Sales workflows, omni-channel integrations, automated outreach engines, and partner portals.
• Hire, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team; drive Agile practices.
• Partner with Product, Design, Security, Marketing, Sales Ops, and Exec Leadership to translate strategy into deliverables.
• Enforce DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and environment management from sandbox to production; optimize governor limits.
• Evaluate and integrate AI capabilities (Einstein, GenAI) to enhance platform performance and velocity.
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance with HIPAA, CCPA, SOC2.
