Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead a team of Salesforce and full‑stack engineers. You will own technical vision across Brand, Marketing, Partnerships, CC-Sales, and Outreach Programs, driving scalable, cloud-native solutions and strategic architecture.

You will partner with Product, Security, and Marketing to translate strategy into delivery, oversee DevOps and AI-enabled capabilities, and ensure governance and compliance across platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on development
• 2+ years managing or developing software teams in Agile, cloud-first environments
• Deep Salesforce proficiency including Apex, LWC, Flow Orchestration, Sales/Service/Marketing Cloud
• Broader engineering stack experience (Java, Node.js, Python, microservices, REST/GraphQL)
• Integration experience with middleware (MuleSoft, Workato) or cloud-native services
• Domain experience with high-volume Contact Center/Telesales, Marketing automation, or Outreach platforms

Responsibilities

• Own technical vision and delivery across Brand, Marketing, Partnerships, CC-Sales, and Outreach Programs
• Oversee Salesforce Core Architecture and platform scalability (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud, Experience Cloud)
• Lead development of modern solutions beyond CRM, including microservices and data integrations
• Architect high-volume CC-Sales workflows and omni‑channel integrations
• Hire, mentor, and retain an engineering team of Salesforce and full-stack engineers
• Foster Agile delivery: backlog refinement, sprint execution, code reviews, architecture sessions
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Security, Marketing, Sales Ops, and Leadership to translate strategy into deliverables
• Enforce DevOps, automated testing, CI/CD, environments, governor-limit optimization
• Evaluate AI capabilities (Einstein/LLM) and automate routing for velocity
• Ensure security, data governance, and privacy compliance
