Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead a Salesforce-focused engineering team reporting to the Director of Software Engineering. You will drive technical strategy across Brand, Marketing, Partnerships, CC-Sales, and Outreach programs, building scalable, cloud-native solutions and integrations.

You will oversee Salesforce architecture, modern software engineering beyond CRM, and AI-enabled automation, while mentoring engineers and ensuring Agile, DevOps, and security

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering with hands-on development.
• 2+ years leading software teams in Agile, cloud-first environments.
• Deep Salesforce technical knowledge across Apex, LWC, Flow, Sales/Marketing Clouds.
• Broad backend/frontend stack with Java, Node.js, Python and APIs.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external apps via MuleSoft or serverless APIs.
• Experience delivering tech solutions for high-volume Contact Center/Outreach platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision, execution, and delivery across Brand, Marketing, Partnerships, CC-Sales, and Outreach Programs.
• Oversee Salesforce architecture (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud, Experience Cloud).
• Lead development of modern solutions beyond CRM: microservices, event-driven middleware, REST/GraphQL APIs, data pipelines.
• Architect high-volume CC-Sales workflows and omni-channel integrations.
• Hire, mentor, and retain an engineering team of Salesforce and full-stack engineers.
• Drive Agile/Scrum practices and cross-functional collaboration to translate strategy into deliverables.
• Enforce DevOps, automated testing, CI/CD, and security/governance standards.
