Job summary

SentiLink builds models that financial institutions rely on to catch fraud in real time. We’re hiring a Manager to own governance end to end, leading a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals, setting the long-term strategy, and being accountable for what great model governance looks like here, strategically and day-to-day.

This is a remote, US-based role requiring deep model risk, governance, and regulatory knowledge, plus hands-on ability with Python and SQL.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in model risk management, model validation, model governance, or quantitative risk.
• 4+ years of people management building and scaling governance teams.
• Deep knowledge of model governance for financial institutions and regulatory landscape.
• Working knowledge of Python and proficiency in SQL.
• Strong bias for action and ability to balance governance rigor with speed.
• Excellent written/verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; legally authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team of data scientists and governance professionals.
• Set the long-term strategy for the governance function and oversee validation and documentation.
• Own customer and bank/regulator relationships related to governance.
• Prepare governance reports and remediation plans, manage the team roadmap.
• Mentor the team and contribute hands-on when required.
